At the Global Institute of Integrated Health, our leadership team brings together diverse expertise across medicine, public health, business, and creative innovation. With a shared commitment to health equity and community empowerment, each member plays a pivotal role in driving our mission forward.

Dr. Eric “Doc” Griggs
Chief Health Officer
Dr. Griggs is a community medicine physician, educator, and health advocate. He holds faculty positions at Tulane, LSU, and Xavier University. As Executive Director of the Doc Griggs Foundation and national COVID-19 Chair for 100 Black Men of America, he has been a trusted voice in public health throughout the pandemic.

Dr. Patricia Smith
Communiuty Engagement & Rehabilitation Officer
With over 35 years of experience as a physiotherapist and educator, Patricia lectures in Physiotherapy and Public Health at the University of East London. Her focus areas include neurology and chronic conditions such as diabetes. She is also deeply engaged in research on Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture to support holistic wellness, particularly within Black communities.

Dr. Courtney Washington
Chief Medical Officer
A Board-Certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Washington specializes in preventative, aesthetic, and obesity medicine. Beyond the clinic, she’s a dynamic speaker, media contributor, and medical consultant for the Emmy-winning Disney+ series The Crossover. She also serves as Medical Analyst for WDSU News, using her platform to inspire and educate.

Kelisha Garrett
Organizational Development & Government Relations
Kelisha is a trailblazer in economic inclusion and minority business advocacy. With two decades of leadership on nonprofit and philanthropic boards, she drives policy and partnerships that support underserved businesses. She is also Principal Consultant at Gen-X Consulting Group, specializing in strategic sourcing and development.

Jane Hutchison
Chief Creative Officer
With over 25 years as a Creative Director for global brands, Jane co-founded HELLO LOVE—a design and wellness studio—and the HELLO BEAUTIFUL FOUNDATION, a charity inspired by her personal health journey. She brings powerful storytelling and design thinking to advance GIIH’s mission of holistic health empowerment.

Kevin Helton
Story Architect
Kevin began his career in finance with Goldman Sachs and later co-founded Shutl, a same-day delivery startup acquired by eBay. He brings a strategic, tech-forward mindset to GIIH, with experience in equity trading, venture growth, and entrepreneurial success across the U.S. and Europe.
